On the Vast Void Continent, martial arts reign supreme. Temper the body, open the origin, gather essence, transform into a sea... until you ascend to the Nine Heavens and command the world!
Young Lin Yuan was born into a collateral branch of the Lin Clan. Because his meridians were naturally blocked, he was branded a "cripple" and subjected to scorn and bullying. When he was eight, his father died protecting him during a beast tide, while his mother mysteriously vanished with a mysterious jade pendant, leaving behind only a blood-written message: "When the Dragon Soul appears, the Vast Void will tremble!"
After three years lying low, Lin Yuan accidentally cracked the ancestral jade pendant during a family trial. A crimson dragon shadow burst into life: the remnant soul mark of an ancient dragon clan left behind in the mortal world! The moment the Dragon Soul entered his body, his meridians shattered inch by inch, only to be reforged into the "Heavenly Dragon Battle Body." Deep within his dantian appeared the "Vast Void Dragon Soul Diagram," etched with ancient runes. He also inherited the dragon clan's secret scripture, the Vast Void Dragon Art. Any martial skill or cultivation technique became something he could understand at a glance and master at a touch!
Yet the day of his awakening was also the day danger closed in:
- The Lin Clan's Grand Elder secretly colludes with outside enemies, hoping to use him as bait to draw out the "Dragon Soul treasure";
- The struggle over the "Ancient Vast Void Cavern," in which his mother became entangled before her disappearance, comes to light. All sides covet the legendary "World-Suppressing Dragon Pearl" left behind by the dragon clan;
- The truth behind his father's death gradually emerges, and is shockingly tied to the grand conspiracy of the continent's top power, the Thunder Radiance Sect!
"Those who humiliated me in the past will kneel in the dust before me today. Those who harmed my family will one day pay their blood debt!"
Wielding a dragon blade, commanding dragon might, and cultivating the Dragon Art, Lin Yuan rises against the heavens and becomes a dragon despite his "crippled" body. From a junior of a minor clan, he steps ever closer to the peak of martial arts. When he uncovers the secrets of the Dragon Soul, he discovers that he is none other than the "Guide of the Vast Void" chosen by the ancient dragon clan,
