"Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases" was written by Zhang Zhongjing, a medical scientist in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, and is known as the foundation work of the clinical school of traditional Chinese medicine. The original book is divided into two parts: Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Synopsis of the Golden Chamber, which systematically summarizes the theory of syndrome differentiation and treatment of exogenous typhoid fever diseases and miscellaneous internal diseases. The book proposes a six-meridian syndrome differentiation system, establishes the medical principles of corresponding prescriptions and syndromes, and treating syndromes according to the syndrome, and compiles a large number of effective prescriptions, such as Guizhi Decoction, Xiaobuihu Decoction, etc. With rigorous language, profound theory and strong practicality, it has had a profound impact on the development of traditional Chinese medicine in later generations and is respected as an important classic of clinical and prescription medicine.
