The Healing Tales of Physician Qi

Through its vivid case studies, this book shows how the "Physician Qi" steadfastly adheres to the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. He begins with the four diagnostic methods of inspection, listening and smelling, inquiry, and palpation, then draws on theories of yin and yang, the five elements, qi, blood and bodily fluids, meridians, and the internal organs to pinpoint the root causes of patients' conditions. Whether treating chronic illnesses or tackling difficult and unusual diseases, he follows the principle of treatment based on syndrome differentiation, using traditional therapies such as herbal medicine, acupuncture, and tuina massage to relieve patients' suffering. These stories not only demonstrate the enduring vitality of traditional Chinese medicine, but also convey the devotion and dedication of the "Physicians Qi" to their profession. They light the way toward the revival of traditional Chinese medicine and let readers deeply appreciate its appeal and value.
