I Fell for You Before the Rain Stopped

Lin Xiaoman ducks into a cafe during a downpour. In the ginger tea the owner, Gu Yuan, hands her, stardust from another world drifts and swirls.

What she doesn’t know is:

- The black-and-white photo on the wall shows a street corner in Paris she has never visited

- Images captured by an old film camera reveal the future when developed in the darkroom

- And the scar beneath Gu Yuan’s collarbone is engraved with the dates of every time they meet and part

When the quantum clock at the Glacier Museum counts down to zero, and the “Observer System” launches its final formatting program
