The Rebellious Heiress of a Capitalist Family in the 1970s

In the winter of 1969, Ning Wanqing, the daughter of a capitalist, died of grief after her father was sent down to the countryside and publicly disowned her. Her soul was taken over by an esper from the apocalypse. Reborn, Wanqing awakened a spatial ability and recovered her family’s hidden assets, then took revenge on the Zhao family, whose patriarch, a deputy director of the Revolutionary Committee, had framed the Nings. She volunteered to go to the countryside in the Northeast, where her parents had been sent, and used the space’s spirit spring and her ability to grow crops to improve their lives. There, she met Ji Chen, an army officer who had also been sent down. Together they fought the far-left factions. Wanqing secretly used her powers to help the villagers survive years of famine, while Ji Chen was exonerated and became a pioneer of reform. After weathering a series of struggles and growing stronger, the two founded a business in the early years of reform and opening up. In the end, the Ning family was cleared of all charges, and Wanqing achieved a triumphant life in which both family and country prospered.
