A Famine? I'll Earn Writing Fees in Ancient Times and Feed My Family Meat

[Farming + office space + famine + family darling + child bridegroom]

Lu Zhinuan is transported to ancient times by an elevator plunging at breakneck speed. She faces a new home with bare walls and a family gaunt from hunger.

She uses her office space to earn money from writing, giving her family rice and meat to eat and a spacious, bright house to live in.

She buys farmland and makes her eldest brother a great landowner.

She opens the Black Panther Escort Agency and makes her second brother its chief escort.

Her third and fourth brothers work by her side in business, opening workshops and restaurants as her right-hand men.

And her child bridegroom, a top scholar determined to secure his place as her proper husband, protects her business empire.

Floods devastate the south, sending more than half a million refugees north.

The refugees who arrive in Lu Family Village bring her a workforce and talented people from all walks of life, helping her business thrive. But Lu Zhaodi, who has become cruel and strange, wants her dead at first sight. And Yang Fuya, a refugee who arrives in the village, draws her into a deadly feud. Together, the two force her into a struggle for life and death.

I'm no good at writing summaries, so please move on to the main story, dear readers...
