Even the Young General Wants to Lead a Hound in One Hand and a Falcon in the Other

[Adorable (Fierce) Beast Companions | 1v1 | Transmigration | Light Court Intrigue | Light Warfare | Light Fantasy, Alternate Ancient Setting | A Touch of Amnesia]

Northern Di wolf prince x Haidongqing falcon girl, Li Du (Wei Dameng) x Wu Qingyao (Wei Dayong)

[The main couple stays in animal form at first, but later turns human!]

After reading the poems of his ancestors, Wei Yunjing, a young general in the northern desert, came up with a dream: "A yellow dog on my left, a blue falcon on my right, brocade cap and sable coat, a thousand riders sweeping over the hills."

He had the brocade cap, sable coat, and a thousand riders. All he lacked was a dog and a falcon.

After the Battle of Shaming Peak, Wei Yunjing accidentally rescued an injured young Haidongqing falcon. Later, outside Shuomen Pass, he found a wolf that had collapsed.

Looking at the falcon and wolf, Wei Yunjing was delighted. Now he had both his falcon and his dog, or rather, his wolf. His dream had come true.

But Wei Yunjing never could have imagined that his two beloved pets were not really a falcon and a dog.

The wolf was actually an enemy in disguise, and the Haidongqing falcon was a modern girl who had transmigrated. Wu Qingyao spent a long time getting along with Li Du, the wolf, only to find that his eyes held not just wariness toward the world, but also unusual feelings for her. She then realized that when he bared his fangs, he wasn't trying to eat her bird head. It meant he liked her.

Wu Qingyao was stunned. "But we're not the same kind of animal!!!"

Wolf: "Didn't you say I was human?"

Wolf: "When will you remember me?"

Falcon: "I don't know. My brain is so small, I can't remember."

Wei Yunjing wept with joy. "My precious pets get along so well!"
