The Frail Me Became Bodyguard to Eight Sentinels

Popular actress Su Yin dies suddenly after staying up all night reading a script, then unexpectedly transmigrates into the body of a vicious Guide in the interstellar world. The Guide isn't much good at anything, but she has a terrible temper. The First District Military Academy assigns her to join a squad on a mission to eliminate the alien species. But she despises Sentinels, and not only hits and berates them, she also refuses to stabilize their mental landscapes. As a result, everyone's contamination levels exceed ninety percent, and they could lose control and turn into killing machines at any moment. With their contamination levels so high, they can't fight the alien species at full strength. Every member is badly wounded, the squad is defeated, and they are left to be hunted by the aliens.

Su Yin transmigrates at this point, bringing a System with her. The System says, “These eight are all people of great destiny in the interstellar world, and they will become its strongest force against the alien species. You must save them!”

As it turns out, in the original story all eight would die here. Without them, the interstellar world would ultimately lose to the alien species, humanity would be wiped out, and the world would collapse. The System also tells Su Yin that if she completes the mission, it can send her back to Earth, where her family and friends are waiting.

Su Yin agrees. From then on, she becomes the eight Sentinels' bodyguard, worrying herself sick whenever any of them gets hurt.

So much so that the eight men get the wrong idea: Yin Yin cares about me so much. She must have feelings for me!
