The Mute Ninth Prince’s Talkative Consort Is a Cat

Tang Tang, a modern woman, died, but then came back to life. But why had she been reborn as an ugly little black cat? The old monk said, “You died too soon.” What could she do? All she could do was wait for her body. While she waited, the old monk sent her to be a medicinal ingredient, a living ingredient for Prince Jun, Jun Mochen, the kind that had to have blood drawn every month. That awful Prince Jun was so annoying. He threw her around all day. And he was mute, too. One day, she finally got her body. As her soul returned to it, Prince Jun traveled countless miles to find her and pinned her against a wall. “Didn’t you say that when you got your body back, you’d come find me?” Tang Tang stared at him in shock. “You can talk? No, wait, how did you hear my thoughts?” Jun Mochen chuckled. “I’ve always been able to hear them. Come with me back to the manor. It’s time you fulfilled the promise you made me.” Tang Tang tried to run, but she would never escape his grasp.
