Sharing a Lifetime of Love

This is a romance set during the Tang Dynasty, in 729. On their way home from a temple after accompanying his wife to pray, Chancellor Yao of the capital and his wife are caught in a torrential downpour. Seeking shelter in a cave, they meet the couple from the Zhengtong Office...

Both women are pregnant, and they hit it off immediately, becoming close friends. In private, they joke that if one has a boy and the other a girl, the children should grow up to marry each other.

Sixteen years later, both children have grown up. The Yao family's daughter, doted on by her parents, has blossomed into a mischievous beauty, as lovely as a fairy...

Young Master Xu, meanwhile, is a handsome and elegant young man.

The two children have played together since they were little, and their parents have tacitly agreed to the match. In both children's hearts, the other is already the one...

But fate has other plans. That year, disaster strikes the Yao household...

After the Xu family's betrayal, where will the two lovers go from here?

Can they still find their way to each other...
