The Goose King's Runaway Young Master

When a down-on-his-luck rookie screenwriter meets a taciturn Goose King, their story begins with a bout of hypoglycemia

Winter, 2019. Shen Lin arrives in Korea alone, with barely any cash left. He collapses on the street from low blood sugar, and Do Kyung-soo’s mother rescues him and takes him in for a while.

The Goose King, Do Kyung-soo, is quiet and disciplined, wary of the stranger who has suddenly entered his home. But when he sees the vigilance hidden beneath Shen Lin’s obedient demeanor, he can’t help softening toward him.

They exchange letters during their time apart, then later work together professionally. One lays bare his heart with the tip of a pen, while the other brings stories to life through his acting. As Shen Lin’s talent gradually earns recognition in the industry, Do Kyung-soo faces a decision as his contract nears its end. The person who always silently hands him a revised script at the crucial moment has already become someone he can’t bear to lose.

“The characters you write never give in.”

“What about you?”
