I Wish to Save the World. No? Well, This Monk Knows a Thing or Two About Fighting!

(The heroine is somewhat self-serving. She won’t save the world or sacrifice herself for others. She’s a little mean, but not too much. She’s a Buddhist cultivator who shaves her head, so if that bothers you, this may not be for you.)

A spirit child descends from heaven, bearing Buddha’s bones in her hands. With Buddha in her heart and the Way in her body, she vows to purge the world of every evil!

Yin Ling was an abandoned baby found by the roadside. As far back as she could remember, she had lived in the Spirit Buddha Sect. Only when she grew up did she learn that the head of the Precepts Hall had found her by the roadside while traveling the world. Her parents and origins were unknown. She didn’t have much to say about it.

But when she was ten, her consciousness unexpectedly awakened, and she realized she was nothing more than a doomed bit player in a storybook. Still, it didn’t matter. Before her consciousness awakened, she’d just been an unwitting puppet. If she’d died as cannon fodder, so what?

But now she was self-aware, and no one would ever control or influence her fate again!

Anyone who tried would die! No exceptions!

The backstabbing accomplice: Kong Shan! Are you even a monk?!

The robbed ally: Kong Shan, aren’t we friends?!
