Codex of Chaos: My Mage Skill Points Went Astray

Synopsis: Chaos Codex: My Mage Skill Points Went Off Track

The full-dive online game Eternal Laws opens its public beta. Xu Zhenhua only wanted to be an ordinary mage, but an accident gives him the bizarre "Paradox Cube," sending his entire class completely off course!

A mage who should be summoning flames somehow unlocks the rogue's "Shadow Step" and the warrior's "Shield Bash." His skill tree becomes a bewildering mess: Fireball turns into a dagger with a burning effect, while Shield Bash gains a magical shield effect!

Even more outrageous, his older sister Xu Huaying is an astrologer-healer, yet she keeps scanning him with an astrolabe in the middle of the night. Could the "Gemini Star Mark" mean that the siblings are in sync? When the Scarlet Dawn Guild comes after him, the cube unfolds by itself into a twelve-sided star chart, revealing a hidden map of the Mechanical City.

The siblings work together to unravel the truth behind the Chaos Codex: it turns out to be a mind-control experiment from an ancient civilization! Faced with a virtual virus that devours players' consciousness, Xu Zhenhua has no choice but to fight his way out with his modified skills. But when the same energy fluctuations as those in the game appear in the real world, he finally realizes that the danger was never coming from the game.

"My mage is going to swing a dagger and fight up close!"
