"Folk Ghost Exorcism"
Lin Yuan, a down-and-out ghost hunter, relies on his ancestral compass and yin-yang eyes to survive in Qinghe Town. The Wang family's exorcism commission for a hundred taels of silver involved him in a whirlpool of strange things: soul-locking spells, bloody handprints, and strange noises from dry wells, behind which was the Zhao family's vicious conspiracy.
He used a mahogany sword to defeat evil spirits, used charms to calm souls, and fought to the death against the evil spirits that possessed children. When the Big Dipper array was attacked and the soul-inducing lamp exploded, Lin Yuan used a blood sacrifice to break the chain and ended the curse with the fragment of the copper bell, but also forged a deadly feud with the Zhao family.
