**Protagonist**: Ji Wangshu, translator of the French Consulate in Shanghai (appears to be a playboy, but is actually an informant for both the military commander and the Youth Gang)
**Scene**: Xujiahui Catholic Church and Longhua Airport Control Tower
Japan wants to bribe France to provide cross-border road construction rights, and Ji Wangshu eavesdrops on the copper pipe in the confessional to obtain evidence of the consul's bribery. He stole the fuses from the French arsenal and transformed the church bell into an electromagnetic jammer, causing a Japanese reconnaissance plane to crash in a cotton warehouse controlled by the Qing Gang. In the end, he pierced his lungs with the consul's gold-plated pen, and played the recording at the signing ceremony of the "Franco-Japanese Secret Treaty" in a near-death state, allowing the French patrol to arrest the Japanese military attache on the spot.
