The Whole Village Is Full of Rugged Men, and They Do Whatever I Say

[Comedy + adored by everyone + making a fortune + feel-good power fantasy + one-on-one, devoted couple]

After transmigrating into a book, Lin Xiaoxi, a star preschool teacher from the 21st century, finds herself as the notorious young boss of Yanfeng Stronghold, said to be...

“Evil through and through, robbing people and burning villages, and destined to be wiped out by the male lead.”

Looking at the gang of fierce, burly men below, Lin Xiaoxi falls silent for three seconds.

This isn’t some den of outlaws. It’s a bunch of overgrown kids who need to be taught some discipline.

She knows all the preschool tricks by heart: comforting the crying, curbing violence, correcting bad language, praising the group, and assigning time-outs. She can rattle them off in her sleep.

And so, life at Yanfeng Stronghold takes a dramatic turn:

A-Zhu tramples the chili seedlings she planted, so that night he has to squat on the ground and say “I’m sorry, little chili peppers” a hundred times.

Hei San gets punished for swearing by having to apologize to the chickens at the stronghold entrance. After that, he doesn’t dare utter another curse.

When someone steals the late-night snack, the entire stronghold is roused to listen to her tell “A Little Story About Dining with Good Manners.”

When the male lead personally leads his troops up the mountain, eager to surround and wipe out the stronghold, he walks in to find:

A sign at the entrance proudly proclaiming “Civilized Villager of the Week.”

A crowd of burly men lined up for morning exercises and sign-in.

Old Saberhead onstage, sharing “Today’s Tips for Managing Your Emotions”...

The male lead: “???”

Lin Xiaoxi: “We’re a legally registered, self-managed community collective. Thank you.”
