She runs a tofu shop at home and her father is sick. She uses first aid knowledge to treat her father, which attracts the attention of the heroine Su Wanqiu. Su Wanqiu is a doctor at the town's Western medicine clinic. She returned from studying abroad and is worried about the typhoid epidemic.
