Seeking the Dao in the Nine Provinces

Orphan Ye Qingming trespasses into a forbidden ground to save his childhood sweetheart, only to awaken the Primordial Dao Marks sealed away for a thousand years. A curse turns his right hand to metal; a jade cauldron mark appears in the eyes of his amnesiac friend; and a tremor from the same source stirs deep within the sword bones of his nemesis's daughter... When the demon clan's saintess transfers her life-bound demon core into his body, the head of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion produces a bloodstained scrap of swaddling cloth!

The ancient road to immortality breaks beneath his feet, and behind the four women who love him lies the same ancient plot of slaughter. Should he sever his ties to love, prove the Dao, and reopen Heaven's Gate, or defy fate and burn the Nine Provinces to the ground? In this war to slay Heaven, with all living beings as its candle, only one who can see through illusion will glimpse the final hope of survival...
