The Lotus of Fate: A Spark Illuminates the Land

Lin Yuqing learned the arts of the mystic sect from her father from an early age. But after his mysterious death, she discovered that her bloodline held the power to fight ancient evil. Cui Mingyuan, an investigator with the Special Investigation Group, was assigned to the case. While pursuing the truth, the two accidentally opened a “Boundary Gate” and were swept into another world where the laws of physics ran wild: the rift between yin and yang.

Here, memories could be altered and time and space were in chaos. Only the “Golden Thread of Fate Qi” could guide them to each other. They discovered that Lin Yuqing’s father, Lin Zhengguo, was not truly dead: his soul had been imprisoned by the evil cultivator Xuan Mingzi. The key to defeating him lay hidden deep within their bloodlines.

As their investigation continued, they uncovered a secret from three hundred years ago. Lin Xuanshuang and Cui Poyun, a cultivation couple, had sacrificed themselves to seal Xuan Mingzi, but left behind a “Twin Lotus” as a contingency. Only descendants whose bloodlines merged could awaken its power. Yet Xuan Mingzi had already infiltrated the real world. His minion, Chen Xuanli, half human and half demon, was determined to stop the two from fulfilling their mission.

Trust was their only weapon; their bloodlines, their last hope.

When Lin Yuqing and Cui Mingyuan stood before the Cliff of Severed Love to face the final trial left by their ancestors, they had to choose: repeat the past and sacrifice their love for the sake of all living beings, or defy fate and find a way to save both?

And in the shadows, an even greater conspiracy was taking shape... The “Dark Abyss” awakens, the dragon clan returns, a spark is rekindled, and the Seven Seas are thrown into turmoil.
