In the later years of the Three Kingdoms, the Poisoned Strategist Jia Xu died peacefully of old age. Yet his soul arrived in a strange space. The first thing he saw was a loading bar, its black background slowly being covered in yellow. Then a boy’s soul spoke up and caught his attention.
The System made a run for it. A glimmer flashed in Jia Xu’s eyes, and he laid down the Eight Trigrams formation devised by Master Wolong in his sea of consciousness to trap it. But the System was truly unpredictable: in the blink of an eye, it had escaped.
Even so, Jia Xu seized one ten-thousandth of the System’s resources and learned that its Host was a transmigrator named Chu Qianjun, who should also be somewhere in this Hong Kong-inspired world…
