Reborn in 2000, I Really Don't Want to Do Charity

[Two male leads + no System + reborn with a golden finger + underdog comeback]

Volume One: Qingcheng in Turmoil, A Business Takes Flight.

[First Male Lead’s Perspective]: The genius singer Chen Hao returns to the age of eight, twenty years in the past. Unwilling to accept his weak, ineffectual father being abandoned by his wife, he uses the song “The Sky Is Bright” to send his dad straight to the 315 Gala, where he performs alongside Han Hong. Then, at just eight years old, Chen Hao starts businesses, gambles on jade, invests in Tencent QQ, and seizes the opportunity of China joining the WTO to build a sprawling empire spanning brick-and-mortar businesses, the internet, and finance. But he never expected the great philanthropist and singer Han Hong to become his stepmother. “If I could, I really wouldn’t want to do charity!” Chen Hao would later say publicly, after becoming the world’s greatest philanthropist.

Volume Two: Daybreak, the Sky Is Bright!

[Second Male Lead’s Perspective]: The protagonist’s father, Chen Tiangang, arrives alone in the dazzling imperial capital, carrying a briefcase of documents his son gave him. With hundreds of future classic songs inside, how will Chen Tiangang, an unknown newcomer, shake up half of China’s music industry? How will he and Han Hong get together, and how will he devote his life to philanthropy?

Volume Three: Pioneer of Philanthropy? Tentative title!
