The Last Daoist Priest

The day my grandfather died, evil spirits suddenly began wandering the city in droves.

I inherited his unremarkable-looking ritual seal, and everyone laughed at me for being the grandson of a charlatan.

Then a haunted house began acting up, and the master hired by its rich young owner fled in terror.

I casually pressed my grandfather’s old seal down, and golden light burst from the entire villa.

In the golden glow, my grandfather’s figure appeared. “Dear grandson, the Daoist tradition of our lineage... must not die out!”
