I Transmigrated to Ancient Times to Become a Maid. Should I Be Worried?

Xu Zhijiu made it to twenty-nine with only two hobbies: eating and sleeping.

“Look at how lazy you are. Once you’re married, your in-laws will hate you.”

“Then I won’t get married. If getting married means rushing off to someone else’s home to be their maid, not marrying is the kinder choice.”

“You wouldn’t dare!”

As it turned out, Xu Zhijiu did dare.

On her wedding day, she lifted her skirts and ran as fast as she could, only to be flung nearly a hundred meters by an speeding semi-truck. When she came to, she discovered she had transmigrated.

Other people transmigrated into palaces as imperial concubine candidates. She ended up in a servants’ quarters, washing bedding as a lowly maid.

Whatever.

If you fall down somewhere, you might as well lie down there.

She had barely settled in when someone grabbed her by the ear and hauled her up.

Life as a low-ranking maid was rough: not enough to eat, not enough sleep, the most work, and beatings on top of it all.

To make matters worse, she was afflicted with a strange poison that struck every three days, leaving her feeling as if a thousand arrows were piercing her heart. It was worse than death.

Who the hell poisoned me?

Desperate to find a cure, she tried every possible remedy and unexpectedly ran into someone else from her line of work.

So this is a double transmigration?

No! It’s a group transmigration!
