Lin Fan woke up from under the low ceiling of his rental house, only to find that he was surrounded by cold, rough black stone, and his nose was filled with the salty smell of rust and rotting seaweed. What shocked him even more was that the pair of stump legs that had been dormant for three years actually felt real pain. He was thrown into a strange world called "Broken Island" and became a "drifter" who had to struggle to survive.
With the instinct of a professional player and the activated "big player" talent, Lin Fan quickly adapted to the rules: collecting supplies, trading resources, and dealing with the threat of continuous loss of Sanity Points (SAN). However, when panic and despair spread in the channel, and when weird whispers and hallucinations began to erode his sanity, he found that conventional means of survival were far from enough.
During a crazy fishing trip, he harvested a metal treasure chest that contained dangers and opportunities, and thus embarked on a darker path. A pair of eye patches that can deprive the senses and connect to the whispers of the abyss, a rotting corpse carrying obsessions... On the verge of collapse of reason, Lin Fan made a blasphemous choice, at the cost of permanent loss of life, in exchange for the key to escape - a ship called the Lost, with a pale skeleton as its core, exuding death and ominousness.
The island is sinking and the water is up to its neck. Lin Fan must, within the final countdown, navigate this boat of the dead that was obtained through madness, and sail into the deep sea shrouded in mist, hiding even greater terror and unknowns. He survives, but at what cost? And what awaits the doomed Lost and its broken-hearted helmsman in the deep sea?
