A Tender Encounter Beneath the Dazzling Starlight
Shangguan Xue’er, a three-time Best Actress, is known in the entertainment industry as the “Flawless Goddess.” Her superb acting and impeccable image have made her the center of attention. Yet behind her dazzling presence on the red carpet, the punishing workload has worn down both body and mind. Her feet are covered in blisters, she has worked nonstop for 36 hours, and all she can do is break down and cry alone in a cramped storage room.
Wang Junkai, the lead singer of a newly famous boy band, unexpectedly catches her at her most vulnerable. Rather than walk away or spread the word, he tries to soothe her with warm words, a little harmonica tune he made up, and a playful card game. When the sponsor demands a reshoot, he even steps in to buy her more time.
Their encounter breaks through the barriers of status in the entertainment industry. Amid the clamor of fame and fortune, they give each other a rare sense of warmth and understanding. Though their lives seemed to have nothing in common, these two find a special love while each bears the pressures of a career in show business.
Super sweet 😘😘😘
