A Lone Journey of a Thousand Miles

Su Jin enrolls at Xinhai Vocational and Technical College, only to be lured by Li Xiaoya into Dormitory 3X6 through a carefully crafted lie, and pushed into a pit of emotional abuse and calculated cruelty.

This is a “miniature Warring States era.” Some people rule through rules, some hurt others out of jealousy, some build barriers with information gaps, some betray others when they waver, and some use indifference to maintain a respectable image. Su Jin quietly watches and remembers every precisely planned attack and every undercurrent of hostility. She endures being used as a pawn in an election, being framed on the night money goes missing, and being cornered by lies while paying her self-study exam fees. Yet she always responds calmly with a single line: “We’re doing just fine together.”

No one is born brave, and no one is born evil. In this struggle over bystanders, cowardice, and self-preservation, Su Jin gradually sees the truth behind being drawn into the conflict like a “mystery box,” and realizes that the counselor’s favoritism has emboldened the bullies. When her luggage is thrown out, she finally stops staying silent. The real fightback is only just beginning.
