In the year 2242 of the Earth Era, space exploration has reached a bottleneck, and humanity seems to have reached the limits of its understanding of the vast sea of stars. During an extreme experiment testing the theory of the “warp bubble,” Ling Siyuan, a brilliant but lonely interstellar physicist, accidentally tears through the fabric of the universe and is cast into an unfamiliar cosmos, never recorded by any known civilization, designated “Aethelgard.”
This universe has physical laws, energy systems, and forms of life utterly unlike those of Earth. Its civilizations do not rely on technology alone. Instead, they resonate with a cosmic energy known as “Astra,” developing unique “soul-energy technology” and individual powers. The intelligent species of Aethelgard, including the “Stormsingers,” who are covered in glassy scales and can command storms; the “Sky Islanders,” who dwell on enormous floating islands; and the “Children of the Molten Core,” who live deep within the planet and control the pulses of the earth, together make up a wondrous yet dangerous otherworld.
Ling Siyuan crash-lands on a remote planet called Revelation, badly wounded and cut off from everything in the universe of Earth. At his most desperate moment, he meets Evelia, a young woman from the advanced civilization known as the “Star Speakers.” Evelia possesses the rare gift of “cross-dimensional perception,” allowing her to faintly sense the “echoes” of other universes. She is elegant and intelligent, yet bears the secret of her people’s decline and the heavy burden of their revival.
At first, the language barrier, cultural clashes, differences in values, and even the fundamental differences between the laws of their universes all make it difficult for Ling Siyuan and Evelia
