I'm a Crooked Merchant in a Cultivation World

“I'll be waiting for you in the past...”

Those were words Shangguan Qingyu would never forget. As someone who had transmigrated, he had originally wanted only to become a merchant in this world. But a piece of parchment led him to the “Land of Illusions.”

The Land of Illusions was no pleasant place. When Shangguan Qingyu emerged, he found himself back in the cultivation world, eight hundred years in the past. The System and all its restrictions had vanished. He continued to grow in this world without ever taking the initiative, seemingly forgetting his original purpose, until those words appeared.

But as more and more mysteries and questions gradually led him toward the Immortal Realm, he couldn't help but wonder: Was the System a gift he had prepared for his future self, eight hundred years later, or a trap laid by someone else?

The timeline will slowly be restored...
