In the dreamlike nation of Fontaine, the waters usually shimmer and the land flourishes, while its people go about their lives in peace. Yet beneath this seemingly calm surface, a terrifying crisis is quietly approaching.
Furina, the girl whom everyone venerates as the Hydro Archon (a girl who is eighteen and more than five thousand months old), hides endless secrets and fears in her heart. Every day, she pretends to be a god as she mingles with the people of Fontaine, maintaining a false divinity and air of authority. But whenever night falls and she is alone, unease overwhelms her.
One day, while Furina is handling her usual business, the entire land of Fontaine suddenly begins to tremble violently. Dark clouds gather in the sky, and streaks of eerie black lightning split the clouds. A monstrous beast dozens of meters tall appears out of nowhere. Its name is the Space Beast. Wherever it goes, buildings collapse and people scream in terror.
Furina looks at the chaos, her heart filled with fear. She is only a pretender, and has never faced such a terrifying battle. Just as panic takes hold, she suddenly arrives in a mysterious place... A mysterious glowing object appears before her. When she touches it, she sees a giant whose only known name is Nexus. Returning to reality, she finds an Evolutionary Truster in her hand, and Furina becomes a Deunamist. It radiates a gentle yet powerful light, as if calling out to her.
Trembling, Furina reaches out and takes hold of the Evolutionary Truster. In an instant, a strange power surges into her body. Hearing the people cry for help, Furina decides to draw the Evolutionary Truster and transform to protect them.
The writing style needs to be improved, and the frequency of battles is too fast.
It's not bad, but there are too many battle scenes at the beginning, and there is no dialogue with the main characters.
