Synopsis of "Foglock Dock: Dark War 1939"
In the 28th year of the Republic of China, strikes occurred frequently at the Pearl River Wharf and the situation was turbulent. Su Yao, an underground party member, was ordered to disguise herself as a dock worker and launched an investigation. She keenly discovered the conspiracy of Japanese agents to incite strikes and sabotage the docks. His identity was exposed during the tracking process. Although he successfully escaped, he was suspected when he reported back to the organization.
To prove her innocence, Su Yao went deep into the workers' group and discovered that some workers were bewitched and were hunted down by spies. At a critical moment, Aqiang, an old classmate and underground party member, shows up to help. The two work together to expose the collusion between Japanese spies and traitors, attempting to attack arsenals, create plagues and other larger conspiracies.
They sneaked into the spy stronghold to obtain intelligence, but during the evacuation, they fell into a life-and-death struggle. After successfully breaking out of the encirclement, Su Yao discovered the spies inside the organization and found out the traitors through clever layout. After that, Su Yao and A Qiang joined forces with the anti-Japanese forces to take the initiative and launch a counterattack against the spy stronghold. During the battle, Aqiang was seriously injured while protecting Su Yao, and the relationship between the two sublimated.
Although the enemy's forces were temporarily frustrated, Japanese spies colluded with foreign forces and prepared to launch large-scale air strikes. Su Yao and A Qiang actively organized defense and mass evacuation. In the darkness before dawn, they continued to fight the enemy to the death to protect the city and compatriots.
