Heroes of the Righteous Path, Protecting the People

On the vast, boundless Moon Emperor Continent, humans and spirit beasts have shared the land since ancient times. Their strength is evenly matched, forming a delicate balance. Humans build cities with their intelligence, develop civilization, and establish themselves on the continent through their skill and cunning. Spirit beasts, meanwhile, thrive in the vast forests and mountains, relying on their innate abilities and powerful physiques. But as time passes, the two sides' conflicts over resources and territory grow ever fiercer, and their accumulated grievances swell like a rolling snowball. A cataclysmic clash seems inevitable.

At last, at a turning point ordained by fate, an unknown sword energy suddenly descends. Its earth-shattering force cleaves the sky, the ground trembles violently, and the Moon Emperor Continent is split in two. The east becomes the domain of humanity. With human strength and intelligence, cities rise from the ground and civilization flourishes, while spirit beasts are slaughtered until none can survive there. In the west, surrounded by towering mountains and dense forests, lies the spirit beasts' habitat. Shrouded in mist and mystery, it is where ancient clans preserve their unique traditions.

A bottomless chasm radiating fierce sword energy stretches across the middle of the continent, an impassable barrier between humans and spirit beasts. Both sides know that the sword scar holds a power beyond all others, and anyone who approaches carelessly will be reduced to dust. Yet there are exceptions to everything: only under special circumstances can spirit beasts travel around the west by way of the north, then seek a chance to enter human territory.
