At the moment she fell, the girl felt not fear, but relief. At death’s door, her lingering soul unexpectedly merged with the most mysterious entity in the Wizarding World: the Blood Pact. A red-haired, green-eyed eleven-year-old girl is on the verge of freezing to death in a blizzard when Homra’s crimson flames save her, giving her a new life as Suoh Yukimi.
The noise and warmth of Homra are the first things her cold soul has ever known as “home.” But the Blood Pact brings not only new life, but also a deadly curse: an Obscurus lurks within her, liable to devour her fragile life at any moment.
Keeping the Blood Pact secret, bearing the curse of an Obscurial, and wielding the abilities of Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, Suoh Yukimi has only one burning desire as she travels through countless worlds: she’s going to kick every damn death flag to the curb! Whether it’s the possible tragedies awaiting her Homra family or the future loss of those she’s yet to meet, she will use her wand and flames to burn a path to a Happy Ending for everyone she holds dear!
