When Mio Hoshimi, a witch from another world, unexpectedly comes to “stay” with the Echizen family, her everyday life becomes completely entangled with tennis.

Mio looks like an ordinary girl, but inside she’s a mischievous little demon with a running commentary. With harmless convenience magic and just a touch of mischief, she quietly takes on the dual roles of “unexpected troublemaker” and “unconventional guardian” in the Seigaku regulars’ eventful tennis journey.

She uses a “voice mimic” spell to imitate Captain Tezuka and make Kikumaru’s fur stand on end. She barges into the changing room to “try on” Ryoma’s brand-new regular uniform just to see him get flustered. When Horio carelessly belittles an opponent, she steps in to defend fair play. And during a downpour, she brings towels and drinks to the seniors who are giving it their all.

But the ripples of fate don’t stop there.

A fleeting glimpse beneath the aquarium’s deep blue lights makes the Ice Emperor Academy prodigy Oshitari Yuushi fall in love with her at first sight.

Her principled defense of others at the sidelines earns the whole Fudomine team’s heartfelt respect and curiosity.

Behind Tezuka Kunimitsu’s cool lenses lies a silent admiration for her perceptiveness and decisiveness.

The smile in Fuji Syusuke’s ice-blue eyes always carries a hint of understanding and curiosity about her “little secret.”

And what about Echizen Ryoma, the arrogant brat whose eyes are only for tennis and Fanta? Well... Teasing him and watching him get flustered and annoyed, yet unable to do anything about it, is definitely one of the highlights of Mio’s otherwise uneventful days.

This is a story about protection, growth, little spells, and lots and lots of fiery tennis.
