Born a Buddha's Chosen One, I Ensnare the Divine Maiden

My senior brother Jin Chan Zi is a Buddha-child born by nature, nurtured for a million years by the fortune of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Jin Chan Zi entered the Lesser Vehicle in one day, the Greater Vehicle in three, and Buddhahood in a year. In ten years, he became a Great Buddha. He is now second only to the Buddha himself.

My name is Jin Ling Zi. I, too, am a Buddha-child born by nature. I also entered the Lesser Vehicle in one day and the Greater Vehicle in three, but I took three years to become a Buddha and a hundred years to reach the pinnacle of Buddhahood. I am unquestionably the foremost Buddha, and even an ordinary Great Buddha is no match for me.

My cultivation is inferior to senior brother Jin Chan Zi’s, but I am far better than he is at spreading the Buddhist way.

Countless female devotees and nuns have, under my personal guidance, turned their hearts toward the Buddha and made astonishing progress in their Buddhist cultivation.

I worked day and night, never daring to slack off in spreading the Buddhist way, and made immense contributions to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Those Great Buddhas were jealous of my diligence and resented how my efforts to spread the Buddhist way made them look lazy. They slandered me before the Buddha, claiming that my heart was impure, that I was obsessed with women and consumed by desire, and that I could only attain enlightenment by starting my Buddhist cultivation over and purifying my heart.

In the end, my pure devotion to the Buddhist way was defeated by the silver tongues of those treacherous Buddhas.

The Buddha cast me down into the mortal realm. A hundred years of cultivation vanished in an instant, and I became an ordinary mortal.

When I rebuild my Buddhist cultivation, attain Buddhahood again, and return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I’ll teach those treacherous old Buddhas a proper lesson.
