In Tokyo’s concrete jungle, three bands with vastly different styles are bound together by music as if by fate: Black Star, which stitches ordinary life together with screams (dark heavy metal meets Aomori folk); Night Crow, which cages tenderness in gears (industrial rock); and a smokescreen band drifting between vaporwave and cyber goth. Amid the fractures of fame and fortune, the pain of vocal cords and guitar strings, and the struggle between possessiveness and redemption, they search for their own “resonant frequency.” The ferocious vocalist Yamamoto Shota and the technically obsessive guitarist Takahashi Rio wound and heal each other as their tracks intertwine; bassist Sato Takuya’s apple tuning becomes a gentle cure; and there is also the deranged pursuit of the mad vocalist Rindo Rin, the rationality of physics prodigy and drummer Natsume Ao spiraling out of control... When gears and apples are no longer at odds, and screams and chords find harmony, a boundary-breaking joint concert lets every shattered soul be reborn in the sound waves.
