On the Continent of the Gods, Xiao Yi, Supreme God's daughter, is caught in an accident while studying an ancient magic array born alongside heaven and earth. The currents of time and space sweep her into the modern world. Looking down at the high-rises and the ceaseless streams of traffic, her heart swells with emotion. Her divine father often told her about his hometown, and now that she has been fortunate enough to reach this world, how could she not be happy? After all, this is the home her father has yearned to return to day and night. By some twist of fate, she has arrived here and fulfilled one of his regrets. If her father knew, he would surely be comforted.
She settled in and lived in the modern world for more than three years.
But the Heavenly Dao was frantic as it watched the world teeter on the brink of collapse because of her power. On her way home after attending an exhibition, it quickly seized the passing System 3386 and hurled it at Xiao Lin, who was also on her way home. The moment she collided with the System,
the Heavenly Dao struck again, kicking them out of its world and casting them into the void. Xiao Lin was confused and angry, but when she heard the System could take her through countless worlds, she calmed down. To gather faith, reclaim her divine position, and find the Great World of the Gods, she pretended to agree reluctantly to the System's request to complete missions. And so, a goddess and her System began their journey, posing as Chinese deities to spread their influence and gather faith across three thousand worlds.
