Lin Yu transmigrated into a melodramatic period novel. Her original character was a vicious supporting villain who was surrounded by thugs and met a gruesome death.
To stay alive, she decided to steer clear of the protagonists' storyline...
But the System bound to her issued a cold warning: [If you don't fall in love within 30 days, you'll drop dead.]
Lin Yu: Can I just not fall in love?
System: [Sure. You'll just die sooner.]
She'd planned to casually flirt with some handsome village boy and muddle through life, but...
She accidentally flirted with the coldest, most difficult member of the Pei family, the eldest son,
and even grabbed his hand in front of the whole village.
From then on, everyone thought she'd gone crazy and was trying to cozy up to the “ice-cold soldier” because of his looks.
But then...
Him: “Stay away from me.”
System: [Complete the kissing task to earn 5 points and half a bag of sweet potatoes.]
Her: “Let me kiss you once, then I'll leave.”
Later, Pei Yuxiao shielded her with a stony expression. “Don't touch me, and don't mention her name.”
The whole village: ??? Weren't you supposed to hate her?!
