Master of the City's Dark Corners

Lu was an ordinary criminal investigator until an accident during a pursuit damaged the retina in his right eye and gave him “blind-spot vision,” the ability to notice details in the areas people normally can't see. After leaving the police force, he founded the Blind Spot Investigation Office, specializing in the overlooked corners of cases the police had missed.

When a series of seemingly unrelated, ordinary cases gradually reveal the shape of a “city hunting ground game,” Lu realizes that his “blind-spot vision” was no accident. This hunting ground, hidden in the city's shadows, is controlled by a mysterious organization calling itself the “Designers.” Lu's father, a former criminal investigation expert who disappeared twenty years ago, may have been one of its original participants.

As he searches for the truth, Lu meets reporter Han Mo, psychologist Lin Yu, hacker “Ghost,” and former SWAT captain Xiao Ran. Each carries secrets of their own, and together they step into a dangerous game. When the truth hidden in the blind spots comes to light, they will all face a question that tests their souls: between absolute justice and necessary sacrifice, how should we choose?

An exploration of the city's dark side, the shades of gray in human nature, and the possibility of redemption begins.
