Synopsis

A thousand years of love lingered at one glance, the man in the scholar's dream outside the wall. "The Romance of the West Chamber" is a classical drama about young men and women breaking through the shackles of ethics and bravely pursuing free love. The original work was written by Wang Shifu of the Yuan Dynasty. The story tells that Zhang Sheng, a scholar from the Tang Dynasty, was on his way to Beijing to take the exam. He accidentally entered Pujiu Temple and met Cui Yingying, the daughter of the Prime Minister who was staying in the temple. The two fell in love at first sight. Zhang Sheng is full of talent and talent, while Yingying is naturally beautiful, but their relationship has been bumpy due to family differences and strict etiquette.
