Five years ago, Yu Wan plunged into the sea to save Huo Yan Shen, but he mistook her actions for betrayal.
Five years later, desperate to save her mother, she was forced to sign a marriage contract. She had no idea that the groom was Huo Yan Shen, now the heir to a powerful financial empire.
On their wedding night, he gripped her chin and sneered:
“What a face, so much like hers. Since you chose to marry into the Huo family, you'll pay the debt she owes!”
She didn't know that
he kept her photograph locked in his study,
he tormented himself every night with the perfume she had blended,
and the bullet lodged beside his heart was a memento she had left him all those years ago.
When Huo Yan Shen discovered that Yu Wan was the “dead” love of his life,
she had her lawyer deliver a divorce agreement. “Mr. Fu, the game is over.”
