This book aims to elaborate on the connotation of calligraphy (including charm, strength, spirit, connotation, etc.), Provide theoretical guidance for calligraphy students to better choose the direction of practice, and further improve calligraphy students' cognition and aesthetic experience of calligraphy aesthetics. Based on Chinese philosophy and Chinese aesthetics, the author discusses some important principles in calligraphy aesthetics in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, especially the key role played by Confucian beauty of neutrality and Taoist natural beauty in calligraphy art, and makes a convincing theoretical expression. The book is divided into ten chapters, which can be combined into a system, or divided into separate chapters.
