The world is divided into nine continents, each home to countless factions and sects. The Dayin Dynasty, based in Mingzhou, uses twelve golden figures to suppress the other eight continents and seize their fortune.
For generations, the Yu clan has held the Tiger Tally and guarded the dragon veins. The last emperor had no heir and secretly decreed that the throne should pass to the great general Yu Tiangang. But Chancellor Tang Yuan intercepted the decree in secret and usurped the throne. The Yu clan was slaughtered, and only Yu Tiangang’s eldest son and his pregnant wife escaped to Jiangnan. After giving birth to Yu Qingxiao, they concealed their identities.
The Tang family passed off dragon qi as Heaven’s mandate and founded the Dasheng Dynasty. To secure their rule, the Tang clan secretly hunted down the surviving Yu heirs who bore dragon spirits, and used the Twenty-Four Solar Terms Bells to forcibly lock down Mingzhou’s fortune.
Mingzhou faces internal strife and external threats, while the nine continents are gripped by turbulent change.
