For the sake of the fate of his sect, Gu Xiu bound himself to death for hundreds of years and suffered all kinds of torture. Unexpectedly, everything that should have belonged to him was replaced by the new junior brother. The master abandoned him and the senior sister hated him. Gu Xiu, who was completely awakened, betrayed the sect and transformed into a loose cultivator and made great progress all the way. In the end, the master and the senior sisters all regretted it and came crying to beg Gu Xiu to return to the sect.

It's quite interesting, but the ending is not very satisfying.
The main reason is that the actors acted very well, and the male protagonist gave people a sense of righteousness.
Much better than books
It's better than the other version. There aren't too many regrets, there aren't too many loudmouths, and the self-inflicted pain is relatively less. Although the ending is cliche, the overall look and feel is normal, not as extreme as a short drama, and has the flavor of a drama.
