Under the land of China, there is a mysterious world "Gui Xu Core" composed of nine ancient tombs (Nine Ques), which is the hub for regulating the balance of life and death. The three sects of Mojin School Captain, Xiling Tombkeeper, and Northern Xuanmen have been guarding it for generations, while the Yinfu Society attempts to restart the Nine Towers through mechanical transformation and corpse dissection, and resurrect the dead to break the balance.
