Drowned in Sweetness

[Glamorous, icy heiress from Shanghai + younger, scheming, unhinged wolf pup]

An age-gap romance with a ten-year difference. The younger second male lead schemes his way to the top, pulling every trick he can to fight for her and claim her.

He first met Nan Wan in her high school teacher’s office. She rushed in, travel-worn, that day, and dragged Pei Ji, who stood silently in the corner, out of the office by the hand.

When he turned twenty, he launched his unhinged campaign of seduction and pursuit.

Pei Ji: “Nan Wan, was there ever a moment when you felt sorry for me?”

On New Year’s Eve, Xu Yuezhou stood amid the fireworks on the Bund and told Nan Wan, “Wanwan, I’ll always love you.”

Later, Nan Wan fled alone to California. Through countless days and nights, she kept thinking about what Xu Yuezhou had said.

They reunited four years later. He had become a young master left isolated and helpless by upheavals in his family, and he had gone from an unknown actor to a top-tier star, one of the hottest names in entertainment.
