The Sky Screen Descends: I Hook the Ancients on Short Videos

[Historical What-If + History + Sky Screen + the Myriad Worlds]

Ye Feng is a miserable wage slave being worked to the bone for a salary of 3,500 yuan.

One late night, while slacking off and scrolling through videos, his phone suddenly mutates. Every short video he watches becomes a vast sky screen projected into the ancient world.

From the Qin and Han to the Tang and Ming, a colossal screen suddenly blots out the sky across countless historical worlds!

Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng puts down his bamboo slips, his eyes wide with shock. “My Great Qin… fell?! After just fourteen years?!”

Emperor Wu of Han Liu Che points his sword at the sky, fired up with enthusiasm. “If the enemy can invade us, so can we! I must become an emperor for the ages!”

Emperor Taizong of Tang Li Shimin trembles with nerves. “I… killed my brother and forced my father from the throne. What will people in later generations think of me?”

During the Hongwu era of the Ming, Zhu Yuanzhang grabs a willow switch and chases ten-year-old Zhu Di around the courtyard, beating him soundly. “Emperor Yongle?! I’ll beat you, you treacherous rebel, to death today!”

Ten-year-old Zhu Di wails in despair. “Father! That won’t be me! I’m only ten!!!”

…

Ye Feng stares blankly at the video that has popped up on his phone: [A Rundown of the Four Emperors of the Ages].

He has no idea that the short videos he casually scrolls through are being projected across the Myriad Worlds, utterly shattering the worldview of emperors throughout history!

Who will claim the top spot on the list of emperors for the ages?

Qin Shi Huang and Emperor Wu of Han, Emperor Taizong of Tang and Emperor Taizu of Ming: who is the strongest ruler in the eyes of posterity?

And those emperors whose shameful histories as “spendthrift heirs” have been exposed…

They’re already trembling in fear.
