2025 New Oriental Fantasy Tragedy
core context
The Confrontation of Two Souls
The guardian ghosts Qing Ling (the incarnation of good thoughts) and Hong Yue (the entity of hatred) are originally split bodies of the same soul. After Qingling was accidentally released by folklorist Zhou Zhaoyu, he discovered that he was the resentful spirit of the girl Hongyue who was sacrificed in 1855. Hong Yue was betrayed by her lover Yang Zhiyuan and tortured and killed by the villagers, and fell into a ghost world. Qing Ling gradually awakened to her humanity due to modern memories.
The shackles of reincarnation and fate
Zhou Zhaoyu has three identities:
Descendants of the enemy (sacrifice the bloodline of leader Zhou Wenyu)
Continuation of blood relations (descendants of Hongyue's younger brother Li Long)
Reincarnation of the Betrayer (Reincarnation of Yang Zhiyuan's Soul)
The entanglement between the three reveals the theme of "sin is transmitted through blood and memory."
The ultimate showdown and annihilation
Hongyue destroyed Wangfengxiang out of desire for revenge, and Qingling died with Zhou Zhaoyu in order to protect him. Finally, in the sea of lilies, the two souls dissipated together due to mutual repulsion of energy, leaving only a lily made of blood and tears.

Ideological core
Through the closed-loop narrative of "self-division-confrontation-annihilation", we explore:
Can traumatic memories truly be redeemed?
Can love break the fate of reincarnation?
Is the root of evil external oppression or self-selection?
The ending is left blank: Five years later, Zhou Zhaoyu met a flower-growing girl who had the same appearance as Qing Ling, but the two passed by each other, implying that reincarnations are not over but they will never intersect.
