[Modern forensic examiner + ancient coroner + transmigration]
After work one day in her modern life, Lin Shuyue is tragically killed in a car accident, only to transmigrate to ancient times and become the daughter of a coroner serving the Minister of Justice. By coincidence, she arrives just as a bizarre murder case unfolds, and somehow becomes a suspect herself.
While Xie Yanzhou investigates the crime scene, Lin Shuyue offers to perform the autopsy to clear her name. Drawing on her modern forensic expertise, she examines the body with practiced skill and reaches a conclusion entirely different from that of traditional coroners, yet utterly convincing. She successfully clears her name...
“Lord Xie, when did you learn to hide pastries?”
“Ever since you started saying you were hungry all the time.”
She tells him he shines brighter than a firefly...
He says, “I love you. In your eyes are mountains and seas I cannot fathom.”
He says, “All I know is that you are a coroner who gives the dead the truth, and a woman who makes my heart stir.”
