They said Si Li's mother was a homewrecking mistress, hated by everyone, who seduced Sheng Jinghuai's father and caused his mother to become a vegetable.
Sheng Jinghuai had hated Si Li for seven years. He used a child to threaten him into serving as the lowliest servant in the Sheng household, while Si Li watched him dote on another woman.
He said, “Si Li, you destroyed my family! I will never let you go, not for as long as I live!”
Si Li accepted his fate and stopped resisting, letting the vicious dogs Sheng Jinghuai brought bite him.
Later, when Sheng Jinghuai learned that none of it had anything to do with Si Li, he saw the pool of blood and completely lost his mind.
