Wuxia Crossover: I Promised to Lie Flat, Yet Became a Wulin Legend

Murong Fu is reborn. He only wants to live a quiet, lazy life, but why does the martial world keep taking his idle remarks as supreme truths?!

“Even the greatest martial artist has to fear a kitchen knife?”

The martial world is shaken! “Young Master Murong has returned to the natural way and reached the realm where no technique surpasses having no technique!”

“Life is short, so enjoy it while you can?”

The martial world is in an uproar! “Young Master Murong has seen through life and death and laughs proudly over the martial world!”

Even when he casually says, “This dish is a little salty,” while eating…

The major sects hold emergency meetings through the night: “Young Master Murong is hinting that we have too much free time. The restoration of our kingdom must be urgent!”

…

Murong Fu: “I really just want to coast through life and wait to die!”

Everyone in the martial world: “Young Master Murong is once again matching the gods in a mortal body!”

And so, amid one absurd misinterpretation after another…

The Shaolin abbot seeks him out to discuss Zen,

Huang Yaoshi invites him to appreciate the flute,

Dongfang Bubai asks him to embroider…

Most absurd of all, even Sweeping Monk secretly slips him a note: “Benefactor Murong, I know a move called the Tathagata Palm. I wonder if I should tell you about it?”
